2025 Annual General Meeting

As many of you know, maintaining an independent chapter depends on having a team of officers to carry on the work. Without new officers stepping forward, this will likely be the final year of Kitakyushu JALT as an independent chapter. In that case, we would merge with Fukuoka JALT beginning next year.

To address this, we will hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, October 4th at 6:00 PM. This meeting will include:

• Nominations and elections for officer positions

• Discussion of the future of Kitakyushu JALT

• If no candidates are nominated, a motion to finalize the closure of the chapter

This is an important meeting that will determine the future of our chapter. We strongly encourage all members to attend and to consider taking on a role. Your participation is vital to keeping Kitakyushu JALT active.
